Obtaining remote field updates and language files for Communication Manager Messaging

About this task

One or more remote field updates (RFUs) may be needed. You need to also determine whether optional languages are used. If so, obtain the data files.

To obtain aCommunication Manager Messaging RFU file:

Procedure

On the Avaya Support Web site, click Find Documentation and Downloads by Product Name
Under the letter "C", select CMM Messaging Application.
Click Downloads.
To download the CMM patch software:

Click CMM Embedded Messaging Application Patches.

Click on the service pack file name for the version of CM Messaging that you have.

For example, C6072rf+b.rpm.
Click Save and browse to the location on your laptop where you want to save the file.
